There is a place in Madhya Pradesh that may even outshine the beauty of some famous tourist places. We are talking about the place named Bhedaghat, located in the district of Jabalpur. The marble cliffs and lush green trees surrounding it make the place incredibly special. Shooting of many films was held in this place because of its unique charm. According to reports, the stones at Bhedaghat have transformed into cliffs over time. The 100-foot-tall cliffs make this place a stand-out tourist attraction. The flowing water has turned these marble rocks into a 5-km-long gorge. The rocks found here are rich in magnesium. The ghats also feature a famous waterfall known by the name Dhuandhar Falls. Adding to it, there is also a famous temple named Chausath Yogini Temple. The temple houses 64 statues of yoginis.

Historian Jayant Verma spoke about the famous tourist place. He said “Two rivers meet in this place, Narmada and Tapti. Both of the rivers then flow to the Arabian Sea. The stones which you see here are very unique. Millions of years ago, a volcanic eruption took place at this place. The lava that came from the volcano created these soft stones. Many people mistake it for marble but these stones are not marble.”

These cliffs, standing several feet tall, are often described as magical. As the river flows, the rocks change its shape. The rocks appear black on the outside and whine on the inside. The view becomes more beautiful during the nighttime. The rocks look stunning when the moonlight falls on them. As per media reports, Dinosaur eggs were also found here many years ago.

Bhedaghat recently gained immense popularity after it was featured in the film Dunki, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu. Films like Mohenjo Daro, Jis Desh Mein Ganga Behti Hai and Bobby were also shot here.

The nearest railway station to Bhedaghat is Jabalpur railway station. It is around 25 km from Jabalpur. The Jabalpur airport is around 30 km away from this place. You can enjoy boating at this place. The price of the tickets is Rs 200 per person.
