After making its first stop in Sojat, this Ram Rath Yatra will reach Ayodhya via Bar, Jaipur, Agra and Lucknow. Ram Rath Yatra will reach Ayodhya on June 16.

A huge mace and bow have been prepared by the craftsman in Sirohi, Rajasthan to offer at the Ram Mandir Temple in Ayodhya. A 26-foot mace weighing 3,200 kg and a 3,000 kg bow have been made by Panchdhatu–an alloy of gold, silver, copper, zinc and iron. These were sent off as a religious procession from Sheoganj of Sirohi. The bow and mace are considered the primary weapons of lord Ram and Hanuman. It has been sent off in a Ram Rath to Ayodhya. It is expected to be placed at the Ram Mandir near the idols of lord Ram and Hanuman.

Before the Ram Rath left for Ayodhya, the grand bow and mace were worshipped as per rituals. Sanatan Seva Sansthan organised a grand ceremony at Maharaja Maidan in Sheoganj. Champat Rai, the General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust was invited as the chief guest. The guests waved the saffron flag and sent off the Ram Rath to Ayodhya.

Champat Rai said that a grand temple has been built at the birthplace of Lord Ram in Ayodhya after a long wait of 500 years. Sixteen other temples including Lord Ram devotees Shabari, Kevat and Ahalya will be built outside the Ram Mandir. He bowed to the land of Sirohi and praised the Pindwara region’s stones, which were used in Ram Mandir Ayodhya.

The mace was sent off first in the ceremony. The departure of the bow was delayed due to pending construction and it was sent off in the afternoon. The work of the mace and Dhanush prepared by the artisans of Sirohi has been completed under the supervision of Kailash Kumar Suthar and Hitesh Soni. A team of 18 artisans completed this work.

After making its first stop in Sojat, this Ram Rath Yatra will reach Ayodhya via Bar, Jaipur, Agra and Lucknow. Ram Rath Yatra will reach Ayodhya on June 16. The Bow and mace will be offered at the feet of lord Ram and lord Hanuman in the Ram Mandir premises amid ritualistic worship and chanting of mantras on June 17.
