Scientists from around the globe have often spotted unusual objects floating around the pyramids in Egypt. Recently, scientists from China claim that they have discovered ‘Plasma Bubbles’ over pyramids. There are many conspiracy theories pertaining to these bubbles, including claims that aliens are associated with the phenomenon. Chinese scientists have dismissed these theories, mentioning that this is a completely natural and scientific phenomenon. Such a unique phenomenon was also spotted over Midway Island, which once housed a US Navy Base. The scientists pointed out that these strange objects do not indicate the involvement of any creature from another world. This was stated after a long study. For the research, the scientists used advanced Low Latitude Long-Range Ionospheric Radar (LARID) to detect the origin of the bubbles. These equatorial plasma bubbles form due to the disappearance of charged particles in the Earth’s upper atmosphere. This strange phenomenon creates a region with lower levels of electrons, which the scientists describe as bubble-like formation.
According to media reports, these bubbles can spread for more than 100 miles (approximately 160.9 km). It can also interfere with GPS and satellite communications. In August, scientists from the Institute of Geology and Geophysics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing reported that plasma bubbles that were caused by a solar storm appeared on their radar in the month of November, last year. These bubbles were observed in Egypt and several other low-altitude regions.
The development of radars that are capable of detecting plasma bubbles is important as they may pose a significant threat. The lack of large-scale and long-term observation facilities over oceans has hindered the research works. The scientists were finding it hard to predict the threats. To address this, Chinese scientists have proposed establishing a network of three to four LARIDs over low-latitude regions around the world. This will help the scientists to do extensive research on the bubbles.
