Walt Disney World is a unique entertainment resort complex popular for its amusement theme parks and adventurous activities. Over the years, there have been many cases involving bizarre incidents at the resort. Recently, a man named Brent George’s Disney World outing ended with him being in jail after he was involved in an argument with four guests at a restaurant. He allegedly made fun of a woman with Down Syndrome. It was reported that Brent was slapped with charges of being drunk and attacking other guests at the restaurant.
According to an arrest affidavit from the County Sheriff, Brent had become intoxicated after having a few drinks at the bar in the Belle Vue Lounge in Disney World and had allegedly made his way to the next table where four guests were seated. In his defence, Brent George, 61, revealed that he had gone over to the next table but does not remember anything specific related to attacking them as he was intoxicated at that time.
He told the officials that he was having a good time at the bar and only made a move towards their table when he was attacked by them.
Reports revealed that Brent was allegedly making fun of one of the guest’s daughters, who has Down Syndrome, by imitating the occasional grunts made by her. After noticing the imitation, the woman’s mother confronted Brent and asked him if he was making fun of her daughter. It was found that he then stood up and allegedly pushed the mother twice. Reportedly, the 61-year-old also slapped another guest who tried to intervene.
After the scuffle between the woman and Brent, her husband got involved and was then punched by Brent. In retaliation, he even punched the 61-year-old in the head. After the fight, he was taken to a nearby hospital and was later booked with charges of assault.
A few months ago, another news story from Disney World made headlines after people reported unpleasant instances of children defecating in public while standing in queue lines at both Disneyland and Disney World.
