Bigg Boss 17 continues to grab the headlines with its impressive lineup of contestants. Ayesha Khan and Isha Malviya were the most recent contestants to be evicted from the house. Ayesha, who entered as a wild card contestant to expose Munawar Faruqui’s lies, surprised everyone by forming a strong bond with him. This left people wondering if her initial anger towards Munawar was genuine. Recently, Ayesha shared insights about her journey and connection with Munawar in an interview with a media outlet.
In an interview with ETimes, Ayesha said, ” The intention wasn’t to expose anyone but for the truth to surface. I went inside fearless and aimed to address certain issues. I assumed he (Munawar) would deny all allegations, but to my surprise, he admitted to his mistakes on the very first day and expressed remorse.”
Reflecting on her journey, Ayesha admitted that she made a mistake by allowing Munawar’s apology to overshadow her emotions. “I feel I became lenient with him. Instead, I should have cut off from him after accepting his apology and been on my own. That would have been better for my journey on the show. Showing a softer side after accepting his apology wasn’t the right approach. I let his apology and behaviour influence my conduct, leading to unexpected outcomes,” she confessed.
Ayesha further revealed that she forgave Munawar, thinking he was genuinely apologetic. However, Munawar’s actions on the weekend episode made her reconsider her stance. She added, “If I hadn’t entertained his behaviour towards me, these things wouldn’t have escalated to this extent.”
For those who might not be aware, Ayesha Khan brought to light Munawar Faruqui’s controversial love life on the show. She said he was dating both Nazila Sitaishi and her simultaneously, and even sent marriage proposals to another girl.
During Weekend Ka Vaar, Ayesha Khan faced elimination just a week before the reality show’s finale. The audience decided the eviction through a live roasting show hosted by Krushna Abhishek and Sudesh Lahiri. In a voting activity, viewers stamped the name of the contestant they wanted to stay, and Ayesha received the fewest stamps, leading to her exit. Before leaving, she surprised everyone by giving hugs to all, including Munawar Faruqui, despite their previous conflicts.
Isha Malviya also got eliminated due to low votes after the roasting task. She was nominated by Team A, alongside Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, and Ayesha Khan.
