Raksha Bandhan was marked with great zest on August 19. The festival is deeply rooted in Indian culture and celebrates the bond between siblings. Our favourite Bollywood stars treated us to heartwarming pictures from their Rakhi celebration. Now, Bigg Boss 15 winner Tejasswi Prakash has also joined the bandwagon. She decided to spread the festive joy by tying Rakhi to the paparazzi. In a video, shared on Instagram, the actress is seen tying rakhi on a pap’s wrist. She can be heard saying, “Mere bhai yahan par nahi hain, aap pehle ho jisko rakhi bandh rahi hoon. (My brother is not here, you’re the first one whom I am tying a rakhi).” A few seconds later, the pap is seen giving Rs 500 to Tejasswi as shagun, which leaves her surprised. She kindly returned the money to him saying, “Badi behen hun na main (I am your big sister).”
As soon as the video was posted online, the comments section was flooded with fire and red hearts. A user said, “So cute, Teju.” Another wrote, “How can someone be so precious, purest, and priceless.” A person said, “She is so humble and down to earth.”

On the work front, Tejasswi last featured in Ekta Kapoor’s hit serial Naagin Season 6. She also made a special appearance in the comedy reality show Laughter Chefs: Unlimited Entertainment to support her boyfriend, actor Karan Kundrra. Talking about her look, Tejasswi opted for a striped co-ord set with her hair secured in a bun.
Tejasswi is known for her work in TV shows such as Sanskaar-Dharohar Apnon Ki, Swarigini-Jodein Rishton Se Sur, Pehredaar Piya Ki, Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya, and Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka. Apart from this, Tejasswi participated in Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss Season 15 and ended up lifting the trophy.
