As the grand finale of Bigg Boss OTT 3 approaches, the finalists are giving their all in these final moments in the house. Sai Ketan Rao, recognised for his roles in Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali and Imlie, has been a standout contender this season and has secured a place in the finale. Ahead of the grand finale, Sai’s mother, Sanngittha Segu, reflected on his journey within the Bigg Boss house and shared the moments that made her particularly proud.
In an interview with ETimes, Sai Ketan Rao’s mother expressed how her son made her “incredibly proud” with his gameplay on Bigg Boss OTT 3. She highlighted two specific instances: First when Sai chose to save his friend Sana Sultan and relinquished his power as the Bahawala, and second, when he prioritised his friendship with Ranvir Shorey during a recent task, even though it meant putting himself at risk of nomination. She noted, “These moments reveal Sai’s true character, and I’m proud to say he always chooses friendship in any situation.”
On being asked if Sai deserves to win the trophy this season, his mother stated that she was confident enough. She added, “He’s not someone who tries to be in the spotlight or engages in unnecessary drama. He’s quiet yet loud enough, and his true personality shines through. It’s not just my feeling, but a feeling that comes from the core of my heart – I truly see him as a winning personality.”
Apart from Sai Ketan Rao, Ranvir Shorey, Sana Makbul, Naezy and Kritika Malik have also reached the finale, which will be held on Friday, August 2. The show is presented by Anil Kapoor. The winner of the controversial reality programme will receive a reward worth Rs 25 lakh.
Sai Ketan Rao made his debut with the Telugu TV show Agni Sakshi in 2017. He then appeared in several Telugu films, including Nene Raju Nene Mantri, Strangers and Most Eligible Bachelor. In 2021, Sai starred as the lead in the Hindi TV series Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali, where his portrayal of Raghav Rao and his on-screen chemistry with Shivangi Khedkar impressed audiences. Following this, he joined the cast of the daily soap Chashni in 2023 and was last seen opposite Adrija Roy in Imlie.
