TV show Anupamaa, produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut Productions, has garnered widespread acclaim for its compelling storytelling and stellar performances. The upcoming episode of the show is set to captivate viewers, promising an intriguing twist in the relationship between Anupamaa and her son, Toshu. Anupamaa will pledge to teach Toshu a lesson after discovering his involvement in criminal activity.
The makers of the show have released a new promo, which was shared on Star Plus’ Instagram handle. The promo commences with Anupama reflecting on the profound bond between a mother and her child, as she eloquently states, “Bachcha jab tak maa ki ungli pakad kar chalta hai, woh use har kadam par sambhalti hai. Zindagi mein aage badhna sikhati hai. Par agar aulaad se koi jurm ho jaye toh, seene par patthar rakh kar maa dard bhi seh leti hai” (As long as a child holds onto their mother’s hand, she guides them through every step, teaching them to move forward in life. But if a child commits a crime, a mother bears the pain with a stone on her chest.)

The promo further shows Anupamaa confronting Toshu and informing him of his involvement in the theft, while she faces accusations for the same. Toshu apologises and admits his grave mistake, pleading with Anupamaa for her help. However, Anupamaa firmly refuses to help, explaining to him that her new perspective doesn’t permit her to make such a significant sacrifice, not even for her son.
The caption accompanying the teaser read, “Toshu ke gunhaon ka bojh nahin uthaayegi Anupama. Lekin kya hoga jab ek Maa apne Bete ko sikhayegi zimmedaariyon ka sabak? Dekhiye zaroor, Anupamaa, 8 March se, raat 10 baje, StarPlus aur kabhi bhi Disney (Plus) Hotstar par” (Anupamaa will not bear the burden of Toshu’s crimes. But what will happen when a mother teaches her son a lesson in responsibilities?
The promo has sparked a flurry of reactions from fans, with many praising Anupamaa’s decision. A user wrote, “For the first time, Anupamaa has made the right decision. I’m proud of her,” while another commented, “Finally, Anupamaa has made a good decision.”
