New Delhi: Rumours about a Swatch smartwatch had been long doing the rounds and the company finally announced a successor to its Swatch Touch, the Swatch Touch Zero One, which includes new Beach Volley functions for players and fans.
The smartwatch, announced at the ongoing MWC 2015 event, includes features akin to its predecessor, a curved touchscreen, built-in backlight, and finger-tap and side-swipe access to six timing functions.
The Swatch Touch Zero One offers fingerfun access to multiple Beach Volley functions right on the Swatch, and provides more information when connected to the free Touch Zero One App on a smartphone.
The video shows that the Swiss-made smartwatch tracks activity and fitness with the number of smashes the player makes; number of steps one takes; measures distance and calories burnt. The Swatch Touch Zero One is waterproof and comes with the standard Swatch battery that lasts for months.
The official price of the smartwatch has not been disclosed by Swatch. However, reports indicate to a price of $159.
