PTron today announced the launch of a compact portable Bluetooth speaker in India and is calling it ‘Musicbot’. The new device by the company is capable of connecting wirelessly to a smart device or tablet and enable the user to play audio wirelessly. The PTron Musicbot will be available in Balck colour at a price of Rs 699 on e-commerce website LatestOne.com.
PTron Musicbot has been launched as a mini wireless Bluetooth speaker that sports a sleek design. As per the company, PTron Musicbot’s design helps create a 360-degree sound field. The company also claims that the Bluetooth speaker is loud enough for home parties and compact enough to be carried in a hand. The Musicbot can also cater to the working class as it doubles up as a speaker for conference calls, thanks to its hands-free calling support.

The device is powered by a Bluetooth v4.2 and draws its energy from a built-in 500 mAh battery that is capable of delivering up to 4 hours of playback time as per the company. The battery takes around 2 to 3 hours to charge fully through a 3.7V micro-USB. The Musicnbot sports a 40mm speaker size and a 10M transmission range.
