New Delhi: OnePlus has officially declined that it is bringing the anticipated OnePlus 3 on April 7 as widely speculated in the recent week.
In an official statement to Android Authority, the China-based smartphone maker said that the event scheduled on April 7 is not about the upcoming flagship smartphone but one that will be focused on the China market.
The company spokesperson reiterated," We will not be launching our next device then," adding that whenever the new device comes it will be an 'awesome product.'
Recently, specifications of the purported device were discovered on AnTuTu Benchmark which stated the next flagship device to feature a display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, a camera combination of 16 and 8 megapixel, and an internal storage of 32 GB.
It further revealed the OnePlus 3 to run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, include a Snapdragon Qualcomm 820 processor coupled with 4 GB of RAM, and an Adreno TM 530 GPU.
