New Delhi: Micromax has finally launched its new low-cost smartphone - the Canvas Spark - in India. It will be available exclusively on Snapdeal at a price of Rs 4,999.
The Canvas Spark features a 4.7-inch qHD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 that makes the screen scratch-resistant. It has an 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera.
This dual-SIM 3G phone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor paired with 1 GB of RAM. The phone has an internal storage of 8 GB (expandable up to 32 GB).
It is said to be the most affordable smartphone running on the latest Android Lollipop 5.0. The phone's 2000 mAh battery is claimed to give up to 335 hours of backup on standby mode.
The new phone will be available in a choice of two colours - White & Gold and Silver & Grey. It weighs 134 grams.
The Canvas Spark is the fourth smartphone in the series of new 3G launches from the company after the S300, D320 and Q324.
