Beijing: Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has two new devices in its portfolio - the Redmi Pro smartphone and the Mi Notebook Air.
The Redmi Pro is the company's first smartphone to come with dual rear camera setting and a 5.5-inch OLED display. Under its hood is a Helio X25 10 core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. Powered by 4050mAh battery and USB Type-C support, the phone comes with a fingerprint sensor.
Marking its entry in the laptop market, the Chinese manufacturer also introduced an MacBook Air rival - its Mi Notebook Air - a super thin notebook which weighs just 1.07 kg.
The Mi Notebook Air with 12.5-inch FHD display is priced at RMB 3499, houses an Intel Core M3 processor, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD with expandable storage option, Dolby Digital sound system, and runs the newer Windows 10 OS.
The higher priced model, at RMB 4999, comes with a 13.3-inch display, Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics card, 256GB PCIe solid-state drive (SSD) and runs on Windows 10 operating system.
It comes with USB Type-C port, two USB 3.0 ports, one HDMI port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It also comes with Mi Cloud Sync, a feature that allows MIUI users to access their contacts, text messages, photos and notes stored in Mi Cloud directly on Mi Notebook Air.
The Xiaomi Redmi Pro will be available in China starting August 6 and Mi Notebook Air will be available starting August 2.
