Meizu has announced an updated version of M5 as its debut smartphone for the year 2017. The Meizu M5S will be available in China on February 20.
The smartphone comes with a 5.2-inch HD 2.5D curved display with a 720p resolution and is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek processor.
On the camera front, Meizu M5s comes with a rear camera of 13-megapixel with features like phase detection autofocus. It also sports a 5-megapixel selfie camera.Also read: Google CEO Sundar Pichai Replies to a Job Application by a 7-yr Old Girl
The phone is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery with an option for fast charging. It runs on a 3GB RAM with Android 6.0 Marshmallow donned with Flyme OS.
Meizu M5s comes with features like mTouch fingerprint scanner, 4G LTE with VoLTE support and a hybrid Dual-SIM.
The smartphone comes in two variants: One with 16GB internal storage, priced at 799 Yuan (~ Rs 7793) and the other with 32GB storage which costs 999 Yuan (~ Rs 9744).
Meizu has limited the launch of the smartphone to China as of now and there are no reports of any launch date being confirmed outside China.
