Huawei's sub-brand Honor has launched its flagship smartphone for the year 2016 - Honor 8. With features like a dual-camera set-up and 3D fingerprint sensor, the Honor 8 is priced at Rs 29,999 in India. That puts it in a very competitive segment of smartphones. The king so far in this segment has been the OnePlus 3. Which is one of the best smartphones to come out in 2016. So, does the Honor 8 have the might to take on OnePlus 3? We try to end this debate once and for all.

On the other hand, the Honor 8 is way more stylish than the OnePlus 3 and there is no denying about that. Honor has used a 2.5D glass not only on the front of the device but also at the back. The device, as a result, is shiny. And the Sapphire Blue colour that Honor offers on the phone is just stunning. It breaks away from the regular greys and silver colours that smartphones mostly offer. The 5.2-inch display on the Honor 8 is neither too big or small. It's just the right size.

Honor 8 is not far behind when it comes to fire power. In fact, the 16 nanometer Kirin 950 chip on the Honor 8 is quite impressive. Also, the phone comes backed with 4GB of RAM which is also more than enough for day-to-day usage.
Both the smartphones offer a lag free user experience and gaming wise both are equally good. Te real difference is that the OnePlus 3 offers a near stock Android experience whereas the Honor 8 comes with a very intuitive Emotion UI 4.1. Both the smartphones are 4G LTE/VoLTE compatible and offer dual-SIM compatibility.

The images on the Honor 8 are just fantastic and the level of detailing in images that are clicked on the Honor 8 are so much better than what you'll get on the OnePlus 3.
