With the latest update to Google Maps on Android, you can now send destination information directly to your mobile device from the desktop.
New Delhi: Google has finally realized the need to add a little but crucial element to its Google Maps service for Android that allows users to send location information across the two platforms.
This feature has existed for the iOS version and now, with the latest update to Google Maps on Android, you can now send destination information directly to your mobile device from the desktop search.
You need to simply update the app and from the Maps website you will be prompted an option to send the information to the devices you are signed into with your Google account.
Once you send the information across the platform, you will be shown a notification on your device either having the destination’s website link or its profile card on Google.
