Motorola's previous flagship smartphone - the Moto X (2nd generation) - is selling on Flipkart at an offer price of Rs 14,999. The offer, like much of the deals on Flipkart this festive season is app only. Which means that users will have to make the purchase from the Flipkart app to avail the offer.
On the Flipkart website the Moto X (2nd generation) is available at Rs 19,999 onwards. The phone was launched in India in September 2014 at a price of Rs 31,999.
The 2nd generation Moto X features a 5.2-inch 1080p display and a curved back encased in a metal frame. The specifications of the new Moto X include a 2.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and water-resistant coating. Moto Voice in the Moto X accepts new voice commands and lets users control their favourite apps with voice commands.
The phone has a 13 megapixel rear camera with dual LED ring flash and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera. The phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat and its 2400mAh battery is claimed to offer up to 24 hours of usage.
