New Delhi: Asus, which is all set to launch the much-waited Zenfone 2 in India on April 23, now has a Zenfone 2 page up on e-commerce site Flipkart.com.
The page teasing the arrival of the phone asks users to register to "stay up-to-date with the launch". "You will be notified by e-mail when it becomes available. Thank you for your interest in this Item," says the site post registration.
The company will clarify its distribution model for the Zenfone 2 on April 23. It is yet to reveal if the phone will sell exclusively on Flipkart or in retail shops too.
When asked Petere Chang about the same during a media preview on April 10, he said, "wait for the event to hear more on its availability details in India."
Asus is promoting the Zenfone 2 as "the world's first 4GB RAM phone". While we got to get our hands-on the device, we are yet to use it for a longer duration.
The phone will take on the likes of the Xiaomi Mi 4 and OnePlus One.
Apart from the Zenfone 2, the company will also launch a 10000mAh power bank and two other mobile accessories at its April 23 event. While the company has kept under wraps what the two other accessories could be, we assume one of them to be a pair of earphones.
