Apple bans selfie sticks: Any one found using one may be thrown out
Apple has issued a attendance policy for its June event banning professional photography, GoPro wearable cameras, and the use of selfie sticks.

New Delhi: Apple is making it absolutely clear that it will not tolerate any person attending its upcoming WWDC developers conference who gets into a selfie-clicking mode using a telescoping stick.

The company has issued a attendance policy for its June event banning professional photography and GoPro wearable cameras. While it has restricted the use of selfie sticks, it hasn't said no to clicking personal photos and selfies.

Apple's policy reads, "You may not use selfie sticks or similar monopods. Any attendee conducting these activities may be removed from WWDC," CNN Money reports.

'Removed from WWDC' might sound polite but it definitely means that should you be caught at the event using those hateful sticks, you will be thrown out.

The Cupertino, California tech giant doesn't say why it was banning selfie sticks from its event. However, as more and more public places like museums and tourist destinations are rejecting the idea of having these narcissism-inciting tool of public annoyance, it is not hard to guess that they are likely to pose a liability issue for Apple.

What's your reaction?
