KGF star Yash is set to celebrate his 38th birthday on January 8. The actor, who has achieved pan-India fame after his KGF franchise, had a traditional custom of celebrating his birthday with his fans since the last few years. He used to cut the cake brought to him by his fans and interact with them for hours on his birthday. Last year, he could not do the same as he was out of town on his birthday. He had penned a heartfelt letter for his fans, apologising for not being there and asking them for their patience in return, as he was onto something big. It seems that Yash’s fans will have to do without him on his 38th birthday as well. Yash will not be in Bengaluru on January 8. He has once again written a letter to his fans and said that he will be filming for his upcoming movie Toxic, and will be travelling abroad for its shooting schedule.
In the letter, he mentioned that unforeseen schedules can come to the fore in the world of cinema and that is why he cannot meet his fans and once again apologised to them. Yash wrote, “I know many of you are waiting to meet me on my birthday in person … Trust me when I say this, to be able to be with you all is one of the things I treasure the most. But, we may have to wait a bit more since I will be away on 8th January. Even though not in person, every single wish from you all is and will always be very special. Love, Yash (sic).”
Yash’s upcoming film Toxic is being directed by Geetu Mohandas and is being made on a large scale. The makers are preparing the movie, keeping in mind Yash’s larger than life image. In an announcement video, the movie Toxic was revealed with the tagline “A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups.” In the video, Yash had a cowboy hat on. According to latest reports,Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor will soon be joining the shooting of Toxic. It will mark her first collaboration with Yash and her debut in Kannada cinema. An announcement has not yet been made by the film’s makers . Fans are awaiting confirmation of the update as well as more information regarding her role.
Toxic is set to release on April 10, 2025.
