Suriya is among the biggest and most popular actors in the South Indian film industry. The actor predominantly works in Tamil films but has also been a part of films across different languages. Recently, the actor’s upcoming film, Kanguva, released its teaser and received a great response from the audience. The film also features Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in the lead roles.
After Kanguva, it has been reported that the actor will star in a film directed by Sudha Kongara, which is tentatively titled #Suriya43. Now, it has been found that the music director of the film, GV Prakash, has dropped some major hints regarding the project.
After Kanguva, Suriya will be starring in his 43rd film, directed by Sudha Kongara. The project, which is touted to be a period action drama, is all set to go on floors very soon. During one of his interviews, while promoting his upcoming film, the actor-musician revealed that the highly anticipated project is expected to hit the big screens by the end of 2024. He added that the film will mostly be released in November or December. He further said that #Suriya43 will mark his 100th project as a music director.
It was also reported that the Sudha Kongara directorial will most likely end with the word Purananooru, which is the name of the legendary poetic work from Sangam literature. It is also expected that the film will revolve around the theme of ‘Veeram’, which means valour.
Apart from Suriya, the film is all set to feature Nazriya Nazim Fahadh as the female lead. Dulquer Salmaan will also be seen in pivotal roles in the project, and Bollywood actor Vijay Varma will be making his Tamil debut as the antagonist in the film. As per reports, it has been found that the film will go on floors in April this year.
