Lavanaya Tripathi, after making headlines for her grand wedding with actor Vraun Tej, is now all set to grace the screen with her upcoming series that will be streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar. Her second OTT project is titled Miss Perfect, which will be released on February 2. The actress is currently on a promotional spree, ahead of the release of her next project. During one of the promotional events, Lavanya gave insights into her personal life and how it feels to be addressed as the mega family’s daughter-in-law. While replying to a journalist’s question about whether she likes being addressed as ‘actress Lavanya Tripathi’ and ‘Mega Kodalu’ (Mega daughter-in-law), she said, “The actress is something that I have made for myself. Mega Kodalu is also something that is special but being known as actress Lavanya Tripathi is something I cherish. This name is something crafted for myself.”

She also responded to another question about her choice of roles post-marriage and potential restrictions from her in-laws’ family. Lavanya highlighted that she started her acting career when she was 18. Adding that her parents never imposed restrictions on her film choices, and her husband, Varun also respects her decisions, she said, “I never had any restrictions from my parents. Varun also is very encouraging. My in-laws always support me. Also, I think it is up to the individual about the characters one chooses to play.”

Lavanya Tripathi also spoke about working alongside her husband, Varun Tej, post-marriage. She stated that she would love to collaborate with her husband if presented with a compelling story.

Lavanya Tripathi exchanged vows with the Telugu actor Varun Tej Konidela in November last year. Recently, the couple celebrated their first Sankranti together. The festive gathering saw the mega family including Chiranjeevi, his wife Surekha, son Ram Charan, and his wife Upasana Konidela, along with Allu Arjun and others coming together for the grand celebration. Notably, Miss Perfect will mark Lavanya’s comeback to films after taking a brief hiatus from films post marriage.
