New Delhi: Congress President Sonia Gandhi's affidavit has some interesting things. She has given a personal loan of Rs 9 lakh to her son Rahul Gandhi on October 13, 2013.

Sonia Gandhi has Rs 85,000 cash in hand. Deposits in banks exceed Rs 66 lakh. She has also invested Rs 11,50,100 in security bonds. She has invested Rs.82 lakh in HDFC mutual funds.

Sonia Gandhi has postal savings worth Rs 45 lakh. Family jewellery and valuable things are valued at Rs 62 lakh. The total declared value of her savings and other movable assets stand at Rs 2,81,50,387.73.

She has immovable property and agricultural land measuring 3.821 acres worth Rs 6.5 Crore in Sultanpur. According to the affidavit her PAN number is AAEPG2947E. She is not facing any cases.

Congress President Sonia Gandhi owns neither a car nor a house in India but she has an ancestral home in Italy, according to papers she submitted in 2009 while filing her Lok Sabha nomination.

Sonia Gandhi's affidavit says that she had Rs 75,000 in cash and Rs 28.61 lakh in bank deposits.

In addition she had mutual funds worth about Rs 20 lakh and Rs12 lakh in Reserve Bank of India bonds.

A sum of Rs 199,380 was deposited in post offices and Rs 24.88,887 with the Public Provident Fund.

Sonia Gandhi's jewellery, weighing about 2.5 kg, was valued at Rs11, 08,100 while 88 kg of silver possessed by her was stated to be worth about Rs 18,37,440

She owns two plots of agricultural land totalling up to about 15 bighas and valued at Rs.219, 300. Their location is not mentioned in the affidavit.

Sonia Gandhi paid Rs 558,000 in income tax for the assessment year 2008-09 and Rs 32,512 in wealth tax.
