Priyanka Gandhi in UP for three-day campaign

New Delhi: Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi's sister Priyanka Gandhi reached Babuganj on Monday and will tour Uttar Pradesh for three days covering Rahul Gandhi's Parliamentary constituency Amethi and Rae Bareilly.

Congress workers stopped her convoy at Babuganj insisting that the party hosts a clean candidate.

Though Priyanka is not scheduled to address any meeting or rally, she will hold meeting with party workers, party sources said.

She will leave for Delhi on January 18, they said.

The elections for the 403-member Uttar Pradesh Assembly will be held in February in seven phases.
