Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad has fired a fresh salvo, suggesting that urine is as effective an antiseptic as Dettol.
Addressing a gathering at the Homeopathic Science Congress in Patna, Lalu said that the only progress we have made is that we now wash our hands with Dettol.
"Whenever we sustained injuries during our childhood days, we would apply urine, which worked as antiseptic. Now people use Dettol, and some of them now use it to wash their hands. This is the only progress we have made," report quoted him as saying.
