Hyderabad: Former Congress MP YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will resume his 'Odarpu Yatra' in Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh from Tuesday.
Jagan had kicked off his yatra in Visakhapatnam district on January 3 and took a break from January 9 to undertake a one-day fast in Delhi on January 11 to highlight the adverse impact of the Krishna Water Disputes Tribunal on the state farmers.
Jagan will conduct the yatra (tour for consoling the families of those who died following the death of his father YS Rajasekhara Reddy) in Visakhapatnam till January 22 from Tuesday, sources said.
His fast in Delhi created a sensation as around 25 MLAs of the ruling Congress joined him. The former MP maintained that he was doing a favour to Congress by asking the MLAs loyal to him not to quit the party for now.
Jagan, who is expected to launch his political party soon in his native Kadapa district, has so far covered West Godavari, Khammam, East Godavari, Srikakulam, Prakasam and Nellore districts as part of his yatra.
