New Delhi: The Delhi High Court has modified the bail conditions of Rajya Sabha MP and former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh, who has been facing trial in the cash-for-votes scam.
Amar Singh will now not need the permission of the trial court to travel abroad, and he is no longer required to deposit his passport with the trial court.
Amar Singh will just have to inform the trial court about his travel itinerary.
Amar Singh had filed an application for modification of his bail application for on health grounds as well as on the grounds of parity with the other accused in cash-for-votes scam who have been granted bail.
