New Delhi: Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde on Thursday denied any threat to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders saying he had "no such information".
"Let the BJP leaders come and meet me. I will hear what they have to say," Shinde said.
The BJP had earlier in the day cited media reports to allege Indian Mujahideen threat to its senior leaders.
"We are very concerned and anxious whether Home Ministry has taken cognisance of these reports and if it is taking any measures to ensure the safety of our leaders as they move around the country for election campaigning. Media reports have said that the IM will try to target senior party leaders in an attempt to seek Yasin Bhatkal's release. With all these dimensions being played out, BJP is extremely worried for the safety of its leaders," she said, adding that a party delegation will meet Shinde and demand protection for the leaders.
