Lucknow: SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav, whose party is supporting the UPA government at the Centre, on Monday asked his party workers to be ready for snap Lok Sabha polls as there was "little time" left for the same. "Lok Sabha polls can be held anytime. You all should be prepared for it and ensure that SP wins maximum number of seats. If we get 60 out of 80 seats, (voice of) UP will be heard in Delhi", Yadav said while addressing party workers at party headquarters here.
Claiming that there was "little time" left for the elections, Yadav asked party workers to work at grassroots level and tell people about the works done by the Akhilesh government in "such a short span of time".
Yadav said electricity scenario in the state will soon improve following a number of measures taken by the state government to enhance power generation.
