The 30-year-old Indian all rounder shared a video of his training regime as he seeks to get back to cricketing action as soon as possible.

Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who is training to get back to full fitness following the injury he sustained at the ICC ODI World Cup 2023, shared a video of his training regime as he seeks to get back to cricketing action as soon as possible.

Pandya sustained an injury that has sidelined him since during India’s game against Bangladesh in the ICC showpiece in India, which the men in blue ultimately lost in the final to Australia.

The 30-year-old has been concentrating on his road to recovery and has kept his fans regularly posted on his improvements.

Pandya, who has a bustling presence on social media, took to Instagram to share a video of his workout montage with a caption that read, “Only one direction to go, forward”

Pandya has been missing in action since the injury and is set to miss out on a place in the squad for the series against Afghanistan.

However, the 30-year-old is tipped to make his return ahead of the upcoming season of the money-rich IPL.

Pandya stirred up a storm as he made the switch back to five-time title winners Mumbai Indians after two seasons at the Gujarat Titans. Following the return to the Paltan, the all-rounder was also named as the skipper of the team instead of Indian captain Rohit Sharma, who has led the MI to many successes over the years.

Pandya led the side from Ahmedabad to their first title in their inaugural season and came close to successfully retaining the championship, only to fall at the final hurdle to the MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings.

During his first stint with the Mumbai-based side between the years 2015 and 2021, the all-rounder was part of four title-winning squads, notching up close to 1500 runs in all with the bat, while also chipping in with 42 wickets with the ball in his hand.
