David Warner was in sublime form against Pakistan in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 clash between Australia and Babar Azam’s men. The two sides squared off at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Friday, October 20 as Warner and Mitchell Marsh took the Pakistan bowlers to the cleaners.
Warner smashed his fourth consecutive ODI century against Pakistan, his fifth overall in ICC ODI World Cups, while Marsh also bagged his maiden ODI World Cup century.
Lucikly for Warner, he was dropped by Usama Mir, the spinner replaced Shadab Khan in Pakistan’s playing XI for the game, but didn’t start well as he dropped a sitter.

The youngster did redeem himself as he took sublime catches to dismiss Marsh and Steven Smith later, but the damage had already been done by then. Warner never looked back after receiving the line life and then went on to bring up his century in 85 balls.
The swashbuckling opener pulled off his favourite signature hop-jump celebration, followed by the ‘Pushpa’ signature move. Warner is a big fan of Allu Arjun and reminded the fans in Bengaluru of his love for Indian cinema yet again.

India’s Virat Kohli leads the charts with 78 tons to his name, the latest came against Bangladesh, while Warner climbed to second place with his 47th century.
