Vehicles travelling on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway experienced troubles on Thursday after a massive boulder fell from the hills and landed on the road due to heavy rainfall.
Till now, no injuries have been reported due to the incident.
The large stone fell on the six-lane highway, near the Mendhwan village, near the Palghar district, according to Mid-day.

Video shows vehicles cautiously travelling around the area where the boulder had fallen.
PSI Balu Rathod from the Charoti traffic division said that traffic had momentarily slowed down due to the obstruction caused, however as soon as the boulder was removed from the roadway.
Traffic conditions on the highway have now been restored and conditions are normal.
According to Regional Meterological Centre in Mumbai, rainfall os predicted for the next five days in Palghar.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely in the district till Saturday.
