Vicky Kaushal is currently basking in the success of his recently released film, Dunki. The actor’s performance as Sukhi alongside Shah Rukh Khan has been widely praised. As he bid adieu to 2023, the actor shared a behind-the-scenes photo on Instagram from the set of his biggest upcoming action film, Chaava. He also mentioned that it was his last day of shooting. The first picture features a solo shot of the actor, clad in a sleek black t-shirt effortlessly paired with dark grey denim, a black cap, and stylish sunglasses. The second photo captures the actor engaged in conversation with Director Laxman Utekar.
In his caption accompanying the photo, Vicky Kaushal expressed, “Last day on set for this year. Ending the year by completing the biggest action sequence of my career so far. 2023, you have been truly gratifying. Walking into 2024 hungrier than ever before!”

The actor’s fans and followers inundated the comment section with anticipation for his upcoming film Chaava. One user eagerly exclaimed, “Can’t wait for the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj biopic” while another admirer commented, “Looking large and in charge.”
Chhava is a historical drama that revolves around the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. In the film, Vicky Kaushal is set to portray the character of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the eldest son of the Maratha empire’s founder. On the other hand, Rashmika Mandanna takes on the role of Yesubai Bhonsale in the film. The film also stars Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta in key roles. According to a report by Pinkvilla, actor Neil Bhoopalam has been also roped in to portray the character of a Mughal prince in the film.
Chaava marks the second collaboration between Vicky Kaushal and Laxman Utekar after Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on December 6, 2024.
Apart from Chaava, Vicky Kaushal has a stunning lineup of projects in his kitty. He is set to feature in Director Shashank Khaitan’s comedy-drama Mr. Lele, alongside Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar. Additionally, he is scheduled to appear in Rajkumar Santoshi’s upcoming film Lahore 1947, which also features Aamir Khan and Sunny Deol. Projects like The Immortal of Ashwatthama, Takht, and an untitled Sanjay Leela Bhansali/Nayanthara collaboration are also in the pipeline for the talented actor.
