After raising the action quotient with the trailer, the makers of Kangana Ranaut starrer Tejas have kickstarted the musical journey of the film with the first song ‘Jaan Da’. While the trailer raised the anticipation to watch the film, the ‘Jaan Da’ song is a perfect ode to celebrate the love for the nation while also evoking the feeling of patriotism.
‘Jaan Da’ song, the first melody from the album of Tejas has been released. The song is indeed a perfect treat to relish the love towards the country and people you love! Capturing the immensely intriguing glimpses of Kangana Ranaut as Tejas Gill, the song fondly celebrates the devotion for our nation. Beautifully sung in the soulful voices of Arijit Singh & Shashwat Sachdev, the immensely patriotic and inspirational lyrics of the ‘Jaan Da’ song are written by Kumaar. Shashwat Sachdev has indeed made an apt composition for the film that perfectly carries the sentiments of national pride and patriotism. While also showcasing the love for your family.
Tejas trailer also received much love from Anupam Kher and Aanand L Rai. Filmmaker Aanand L Rai lauded the actress on his Instagram handle. “Kangana Ranaut On the front foot. It suits you always,” he wrote. Even Anupam Kher watched and reviewed the trailer. He wrote, “BRILLIANT!! Absolutely BRILLIANT! Dearest Kangana Team ! You are MAGIC. Absolute MAGIC! Kangana Ranaut reportedly dedicated four months to rigorous training to master the specialised combat techniques employed by the Indian forces, for her film. Produced by RSVP, the film boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Anshul Chauhan, Varun Mitra, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Vishak Nair in pivotal roles. The movie is directed by Sarvesh Mewara and produced by Ronnie Screwvala. Tejas is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 27.
Tejas has been in the pipeline for three years now. The film was earlier slated to release in December 2020. Kangana had announced the film’s original release date in August 2020. At the time, in a statement to the press, Kangana said, “Tejas is an exhilarating story where I have the privilege of playing an air force pilot. I am honoured to be a part of a film that celebrates these brave men & women in uniform who make immense sacrifices in the line of duty everyday. Our film celebrates the armed forces and its heroes … Excited to take this journey with Sarvesh and Ronnie (Ronnie Screwvala, producer).”
Produced by RSVP, Tejas stars Kangana Ranaut in the titular Role. Written and Directed By Sarvesh Mewara and Produced By Ronnie Screwvala, the film is scheduled to release in Theatres on October 27th, 2023.
