Actress Tamannaah Bhatia, who rose to fame with movies such as Himmatwala, Entertainment, and Humshakals in Bollywood, is all set to star in the Madhur Bhandarkar-directed Babli Bouncer. Taking to Instagram, the actress shared a poster of her upcoming release which is going to be aired on the OTT platform Disney+Hotstar. Tamannaah is currently on a promotional spree for the film. During the trailer launch event of Babli Bouncer, she expressed her wish to become Hrithik Roshan and Vicky Kaushal’s “bouncer for a day," reported Pinkvilla.
Calling the two stars her favourite, Tamannaah said: “I would love to be Hrithik Roshan’s bouncer for a day. I would also love to be Vicky Kaushal’s bouncer," reported the publication.

Babli Bouncer is based on the real ‘bouncer town’ of North India – Asola Fatepur Beri. The film is touted to be a coming-of-age story with a touch of comedy. The feel-good movie is set to introduce Tamannaah in a never-seen-before avatar.
The trailer, which is available on YouTube, introduced the village Fatehpur Beri as the ‘village of bouncers’. The boys and men of this village prepare themselves to become bouncers one day by exercising regularly and body-building. Breaking several stereotypes, Tamannaah plays Babli, a bouncer at a nightclub, and how she makes a name for herself in a male-dominated profession.
Babli Bouncer is scheduled to release on September 23 this year in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Along with Tamannaah, the film also stars actors such as Saurabh Shukla, Abhishek Bajaj, and Sahil Vaid. Meanwhile, Tamannaah will also be seen in Bole Chudiyan, Jee Karda, and the Telugu film, Bhola Shankar, as per Pinkvilla.
Previously, Tamannaah had taken to Instagram to explain just how much Babli Bouncer meant to her. She said that it is not just a film but an experience of a lifetime. The actor also said that the movie began with an extremely well-written character.
“Babli Bouncer for me is not just a film but an experience of a lifetime which I’ll cherish forever. This film started off with an extremely well-written and author backed character, which had everything that would be the right kind of meat for an actor to go all the way and give everything that they have, to create a world and character which could make way into the hearts of audience, and that’s exactly what I tried to do with the character of Babli," an excerpt from her post read.
The actress will also reportedly be seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s segment in the second season of Lust Stories.
