Ayushmann Khurrana has delivered yet another Rs 100 Crore film with Dream Girl 2, also starring Ananya Panday, Abhishek Banerjee, Paresh Rawal, Anu Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav and others. As the actor continues to bask in its success, he also clocked his birthday on Thursday. Amid the best wishes that have been pouring in from the fans, Ayushmann Khurana’s wife and film-maker Tahira Kashyap wished her hubby with a wholesome note.
On Thursday, Tahira Kashyap shared a bunch of lovey-dovey pictures with Ayushmann Khurrana, in which she can be seen kissing the actor on his cheeks. In the photos, Ayushmann Khurrana wore an ethnic kurta and Tahira Kashyap looked gorgeous in a multi-colored. The duo can also be seen smiling ear-to-ear. The actor is overwhelmed with the response from his fans and has also expressed his gratitude for the same. Just a couple of days back, Ayushmann took to his social media handle and shared a video celebrating Dream Girl 2 box office success with his biggest cheerleader, i.e. fans. Ananya Panday was seen as the female lead of the film.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Ayushmann wrote, “Celebrating the success of #DreamGirl2 with my biggest cheerleaders. Sending 100 crore love and beyond your way!” In the video, the Doctor G actor is seen making a grand entry to the beats of Dil Ka Telephone 2 from the film at a café. He hosted a party for his fans. All are screaming his name. Ayushmann was moved by the overwhelming support. He even posed for photos and took selfies with his fans. Ananya Panday also shared a video on her social media handle.
The comedy entertainer commenced its journey at the ticket window on an absolutely promising note with an amazing opening of 10.69 Cr, which is the biggest opener for Ayushmann’s career. Ever since then, the film hasn’t looked back and proceeded ahead with impressive numbers and immense audience love. Following its entry in the third week, the film continues to book its triumph and has scripted its name in the prestigious 100 Cr. club at the domestic box office.
With its entry into the 100 Cr. club in just three weeks, Dream Girl 2 has proven its mettle at the box office. The film stated that a well-made entertainer will set its rule at the box office and also in the audience’s hearts.
