Ranveer Singh is welcoming his lady love, aka cop universe’s first Lady Singham Deepika Padukone with open arms. On Sunday, Rohit Shetty shared Deepika’s first look from Singham 3 and it looks promising. The filmmaker shared two posters and revealed that the cop playing Deepika will be ‘brutal and violent’ in his cop universe. Ranveer Singh, who plays Simmba in the same universe, took to the comments section of Rohit’s post featuring the look and wrote, “‘Re Deva!!!! AALI RE AALI !!!!!!!!!!!!!”
The actor also doubled up a bigger cheerleader by sharing the posters on his Instagram handle and wrote, “AALI RE AALI…LADY SINGHAM AALI !!!!! SHAKTI SHETTY has arrived in the Cop-verse !!!!! @deepikapadukone @itsrohitshetty.”
The post received much love from fans. “Ek aise hype krne wala banda toh mai bhi deserve karti hu,” a fan wrote. “@ranveersingh the most supportive hubby ,” added another.
Rohit Shetty released the first look on the occasion of the first day of Navratri. In the poster, Deepika is suited up in a police universe and holds a gun in her hand. The gun in placed in a man’s mouth while Deepika has a sinister smile while blood was seen oozing from her forehead and shoulder. Sharing the poster, Rohit wrote, “Naari sita ka bhi roop hai aur durga ka bhi… Meet the most brutal and violent officer of our cop universe… Shakti Shetty… My lady Singham… Deepika Padukone.”
Rohit confirmed Deepika will be joining the Singham and cop universe during the promotions of Cirkus last year. “We are making Singham next. Everyone kept asking me who is the lady cop in my universe. So today, let me confirm that Deepika Padukone will be the lady Singham, the lady cop in Singham 3. We start shooting next year,” Rohit Shetty said.
