Shweta Bachchan has been grabbing headlines ever since netizens claimed that she skipped tagging her sister-in-law, actress Aishwarya Rai, on her Instagram post celebrating Navya Naveli Nanda’s ramp debut at Paris Fashion Week. The event was also attended by Aishwarya, who walked the runway for L’Oréal. On Thursday morning, Aishwarya Rai allegedly cropped Shweta’s kids, Navya and Agastya Nanda, out of Amitabh Bachchan’s photo with Aaradhya Bachchan to wish the Bollywood megastar on his 81st birthday.
While the original picture featured Amitabh hugging grandkids Aaradhya, Navya and Agastya and wife Jaya Bachchan, Aishwarya’s cropped version featured only Big B hugging Aaradhya. Amid all this, we have got our hands on an old episode of Koffee With Karan, which saw Shweta spill the beans on her equation with her “self-made” sister-in-law Aishwarya.
Interestingly, Abhishek Bachchan, who is married to Aishwarya, was also a part of the same episode. During a segment, host Karan Johar asked Shweta what she “loves, hates and tolerates” about Abhishek and Aishwarya.
“She is a self-made, strong woman and a fantastic mother,” Shweta said about Aishwarya, as she talked about what she loved about the actress. She said she “tolerates” Aishwarya’s “time management” and “hates” that the actress “takes forever to return calls and messages.”
Talking about Abhishek, Shweta said, “I love that he is a very loyal and dedicated family man. Not just as a son but also as a husband.” She, however, said, “I hate that he thinks he knows it all.”
Earlier, Aishwarya Rai fans got upset with Shweta Bachchan for not acknowledging the actress on social media. Shweta had penned a long post on Instagram for her daughter Navya, who made her ramp debut at the Paris Fashion Week. Her post talked about how she and her mother, Jaya Bachchan, got emotional after seeing Navya walking the ramp. However, she skipped mentioning Aishwarya in her post, which irked the actress’ fans.
