Salman Khan Threat Post Originated From European Country; Police Suspect Involvement of Bishnoi Gang

Mumbai police is probing the Facebook post that issued fresh threats to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently. Reportedly, cops have found out that the Facebook post that threatened Salman Khan originated from a European Country. Moreover, police suspect that a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang who might not be in India can be behind this fresh threat. Cops are also probing if the threatening Facebook post was actual or just a prank.

This comes days after gunshots were heard outside Punjabi singer Gippy Grewal’s residence in the White Rock area of Vancouver, Canada. Later, Lawrence Bishnoi claimed responsibility for this criminal act via a Facebook post and argued that it was done to send a message to Salman Khan.

“You consider Salman Khan a brother, but now it’s time for your ‘brother’ to come and save you. This message is also for Salman Khan – don’t be in the illusion that Dawood will save you; no one can save you,” the post read.

“Your dramatic response to Sidhu Moose Wala’s death did not go unnoticed. We all know the kind of person he was and the criminal associations he had. You’ve now landed on our radar. Consider this a trailer; the full film will be released soon. Flee to any country you wish, but remember, death doesn’t require a visa; it comes uninvited,” it added.

Following the incident, Gippy Grewal spoke to CNN News18 and clarified that he is not friends with Salman and has met him only twice, one of which was this year during the trailer launch of Maujaan Hi Maujaan. “The producer who backed the film (Maujaan Hi Maujaan) invited Salman to the trailer launch. I met him there. Before that, I met him on the sets of Bigg Boss. I have no friendship with Salman Khan and the anger of it is being taken out on me. For me, it is still shocking and I am unable to process what has happened to me,” he told us.
