South Korean actor Nam Joo-hyuk’s fans are desperately waiting for the release of his upcoming show Vigilante. One of the major reasons behind it is that the Twenty-Five Twenty-One fame is currently serving his mandatory military service in the army. Nam Joo-hyuk wrapped up the shooting of his Disney+ Hotstar series before enlisting. Although fans won’t be able to watch him promote Vigilante, they’re eagerly waiting to watch the actor on screen. Now, the makers of the show have released a brand new poster of Nam Joo-hyuk’s lead protagonist Kim Ji Yong, an anti-hero who rises from the dark to serve justice in his own twisted way.
The Start-Up star’s character has two different shades, one of an obedient police university student and another of a dark hero. The duality of his role is aptly captured in the new poster which is split in two. A frame showcasing his bloodied avatar covered in a masked hoodie is placed adjacent to that of a clean-shaven police officer. Just like the post hints, he upholds the law in the day before turning into a maniac to seek justice in the night.
The contrasting duality steals the limelight along with the catchy tagline that reportedly reads, “From now on, I will judge again,” as per Soompi. The poster appears to give fans a heads-up about the unconventional tactics he is set to unleash on criminals who manage to escape the law. Catch a glimpse of the poster here:

This comes alongside an exciting trailer of the show that begins with Nam Joo-hyuk’s hoodied Vigilante beating up a goon. “Start blaming the law for letting you go. Because I’m going to show you what real hell is,” says his darker character shade. An investigative team arrives at the crime site with Korean Money Heist’s Professor Yoo Ji-tae’s vehement entry. The authorities are fighting tooth and nail to gather any piece of information against the mysterious Vigilante on the run. Meanwhile, Nam Joo-hyuk continues to follow his usual routine as a student during the day. He vows to close all the loopholes in the law himself as high-octane action scenes play in the background. “Society failed him. Now, he’s teaching it a lesson,” wrote Disney+ Hotstar while sharing the trailer.
