Kiccha Sudeep Praises First Glimpse Of Jr NTR’s Devara: 'Epitome Of Energy'

Fans of Jr NTR were treated with a wonderful surprise on January 8. The first glimpse of the actor’s upcoming film Devara: Part 1 was released. Apart from the dark and grim visuals, many were impressed by Jr NTR’s fierceness and rugged avatar in the visual clip. Kannada actor Kiccha Sudeep was also all praise for Devara. During an Ask Me Session on X (formerly Twitter), the Vikrant Rona star answered some of the burning questions from his admirers. When one individual quizzed Kiccha Sudeep whether he watched Devara’s first glimpse, the actor reacted to the question in the best way.

“Have you watched Devara Glimpse?? Much love to you from NTR fans," asked the X-user. Replying to the individual, Kiccha Sudeep lauded the yet-to-be-released Jr NTR-starrer and wrote, “Of course. An epitome of energy." Soon after, the official X account of Devara expressed their gratitude for Kiccha Sudeep’s kind words. “Thank you, Sir," they wrote.

Fans too marked their presence in the comment section. While one user rightfully pointed out, “Sudeep sir always shows his unconditional towards Jr NTR. Love you anna," another Jr NTR fan chimed in, “Heartful wishes this is. Thank you so much Kiccha Sudeep Anna." “Fan of you Ur words and acting sir," noted a third individual.

Devara’s first glimpse opens with a fleet of boats sailing in the grey sea on an overcast night sky. Soon, the people on the boats attack a ship, climbing onto the vessel in large numbers. That’s when Jr NTR makes a powerful entry, slashing the throats of enemies and killing them mercilessly with a spearhead. Exuding an intense gaze, he continues assassinating them one by one, turning the grey waters into a sea of blood. After an amazing display of strength, the one-man army aka Jr NTR washes the weapon in the blood-soaked sea as the dead bodies of the enemies lie on the shore.

Apart from Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor has been roped in to play the female lead in Devara: Part 1. Although she did not appear in the maiden glimpse, her first look from the film, draped in a saree and sitting on the banks of a stormy sea grabbed multiple eyeballs.

Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara: Part 1 is touted to be a period drama. Also starring Saif Ali Khan in an important role, the action-adventure is expected to hit the big screens on April 5.
