Keerthy Suresh Is 'Team Jawan', Says She Is 'Eager To Watch Shah Rukh Khan On Screen'

The National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh took to her Instagram handle and shared a couple of wonderful photos with Jawan director Atlee and his wife Priya, along with a heartfelt note that tried to capture her excitement for the film’s release. She wrote, “Tomorrow is a very special day because the world is going to witness your magic, Machi! Atlee. My excitement is at its peak for all you nanbas Anirudh, Priya Atlee, Vishnu Kumar. It is going to be a treat to watch King Khan… in this new avatar! We all are waiting to be blown away by your performance sir! Not just Keerthy Suresh but also many fans are excited for Jawan’s release. One said that the “Jawan Storm” has arrived, while another pointed out Shah Rukh Khan’s supremacy saying, “World biggest star is SRK.” Some also said, “We are ready, over excited for Jawan film.”

Meanwhile, Keerthy Suresh is poised to make her Bollywood debut in the upcoming Varun Dhawan film directed by Atlee. The project has a working title, VD 18, and the shoot began in Mumbai a few weeks ago. A report by Pinkvilla quoted a source as saying, “Keerthy was looking for certain elements in her Bollywood launch vehicle, and this Varun Dhawan film perfectly aligns with her preferences. She will portray a strong and glamorous character in this commercial flick filled with emotions, drama, and action. After establishing herself down South with her exceptional acting prowess and natural charm, Keerthy is all set to spread her wings pan-India, and #VD18 is just the first step towards that.”

Jawan is indeed one of the most anticipated films this year. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, the movie also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles. Priyamani, Sunil Grover, Yogi Babu, Sanya Malhotra, Riddhi Dogra, and others play supporting roles in the film. Deepika Padukone has a special appearance in the project that is supported by SRK’s banner, Red Chillies Entertainment.
