Ahead of the India-Pakistan World Cup match, actress Athiya Shetty has sent out best wishes to the men in blue. Athiya, who is married to cricketer KL Rahul, recently shared that she is ‘excited’ about the match and added that team India knows what they are doing.
“I wish the team all the very best. The Indian team knows exactly what they are doing,” Athiya told India Today.
Just a while ago, Varun Dhawan also took to his Instagram handle and dropped a couple of photos, cheering for men in blue. Varun sported the Indian cricket team jersey as he posed for the cameras. In the caption of his post, the Bawaal actor wrote, “INDIA INDIA INDIA Khelenge hum dil se Khelenge hum shaan se #worldcup #indiavspakistan”.

India Vs Pakistan World Cup match, which is taking place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, is one of the highly anticipated. Several celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth among others will also be attending the match. Singers Arijit Singh and Shankar Mahadevan will also be performing at the ceremony.
Anushka Sharma also reached Ahmedabad to attend the match. Just a while back, a video of the actress surfaced on social media in which she was seen walking out of the airport as she was snapped by the paparazzi. Anushka sported an all-black attire outfit and looked as gorgeous as ever.
Superstar Salman Khan is also in the stadium to watch India Vs Pakistan match. Ahead of the mega-match, he sent wishes to the Indian team and asked them to play with full confidence. “ek mauka hai, mauke ka fayda uthana chahiye,” Salman said.
