Imran Khan Seen With Rumoured GF Lekha at Ira Khan's Wedding, Pic Goes Viral; Avantika Malik Skips

Actor Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan tied the knot with her longtime partner Nupur Shikhare at an intimate wedding ceremony on Wednesday in Mumbai. Ira’s cousin Zayn Marie shared a series of photos from the gorgeous wedding ceremony which took place at Taj Lands End.

In the first picture, Zayn is seen escorting Ira to the stage. In the second one, Zayn is posing for a mirror selfie with actor Imran Khan, looking dapper in a black tuxedo. In another picture, Zayn is posing with Imran and his rumoured girlfriend and actor Lekha Washington, who’s wearing a lehenga. Imran’s estranged wife Avantika Malik skipped the ceremony.

Imran Khan and Avantika Malik got married in 2011. They welcomed their daughter, named Imara, in 2014. The couple reportedly separated in 2019 but has not spoken about their split in public. Imran was last seen in the 2015 film Katti Batti.

Meanwhile, it was Nupur Shikhare’s wedding attire and baraat that caught everyone’s attention at the wedding ceremony. The groom was seen jogging to the wedding venue, wearing a pair of shorts and a black vest. His unconventional outfit had everyone talking on social media.

Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare got engaged in Italy in September last year. Two months later, they hosted an intimate engagement party that was attended by family and close friends, including Imran Khan, Aamir’s ex-wives Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao and actor Fatima Sana Shaikh.

A source told News18 that Aamir and the family have planned two star-studded receptions, one in Udaipur and another in Delhi. It is reported that some of the biggest stars are likely to attend the wedding reception in Udaipur.
