Bride-To-Be Lavanya Tripathi To Wear Her Mom's Saree For Haldi Ceremony

As the power couple Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi are set to tie the knot on November 1, excitement is soaring within the Allu-Konidela clan. The splendid wedding festivities are scheduled to unfold in the breathtaking landscape of Tuscany, Italy, where the families and close ones of both the bride and groom will gather to celebrate the joyous occasion. Recently, the bride-to-be, Lavanya Tripathi, has decided to eschew high-end designer brands and instead choose a cherished ensemble that was previously worn by her mother.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, Lavanya Tripathi has repurposed her mother’s saree into an exquisite cape with lehenga, crafted by Archana Rao, for her Haldi ceremony. Undoubtedly, this will impart a distinctive and sentimental touch to her attire, lending an added layer of significance to her momentous day. Embracing a minimal and timeless appearance, the actress will complement her outfit with accessories from the collection designed by Abhilasha Pret Jewelry.

On the other hand, the groom, Varun Tej, will be donning a yellow kurta by renowned celebrity fashion designer, Manish Malhotra. Talking about Niharika Konidela, Varun Tej’s sister, she chose to wear her mother Padmaja Konidela’s saree during her pre-wedding ceremony, as reported by Pinkvilla. Niharika Konidela elegantly paired a blue zari border saree with a newly embellished blouse.

According to reports, Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi will exchange vows at the Borgo San Felice Resort in Tuscany, with pre-wedding celebrations commencing on October 30. Additionally, the couple has organized a cocktail party, along with mehendi and haldi ceremonies scheduled to take place on October 31. There were also reports indicating that after the wedding, the couple intends to organize an elaborate reception in Hyderabad alongside their colleagues from the industry. Allegedly, the venue in question is under the ownership of Nagarjuna Akkineni.

As per the details disclosed through the leaked invitation card, the affair is scheduled to take place at the N Convention located in Madhapur. It is stated that a section of this banquet hall is possessed by Nagarjuna Akkineni and can accommodate approximately 3,000 guests. The lavish reception has been slated for November 5. Meanwhile, both Varun and Lavanya’s families are en route to Tuscany in preparation for the wedding.

Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi got engaged in Hyderabad earlier this year in June. Their paths crossed during the filming of the Telugu movie Mister in 2017.

Work-wise, hailing from Uttar Pradesh, Lavanya Tripathi made her silver screen debut in 2012 with Hanu Raghavapudi’s Andala Rakshasi. Her most recent film role was in Ritesh Rana’s Happy Birthday in 2022. On the other hand, having debuted as the lead actor in Srikanth Addala’s Mukunda, Varun Tej has since built a successful career, boasting numerous successful films. His latest appearance was in Praveen Sattaru’s action thriller Gandeevadhari Arjuna.
