Salman Khan just scored a box office hit with Tiger 3. The film has become the 4th highest grosser of 2023 as of now. Tiger 3, directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra also stars Katrina Kaif in a key role. While his film is a grand success, Salman Khan, in a recent interview, reminisced about the old days in the industry with multi-starrer films and suggested that Aamir Khan should also be part of the YRF Spy Universe. He further discussed the collaborative spirit of the 1990s, when stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and others worked together for a better cinematic experience.

In a recent interview with Zoom, Salman Khan said that he got work with Shah Rukh Khan in Tiger 3 and that moving forward; he would like Aamir Khan to join. “Here, I did work with Shah Rukh in Tiger 3, and if Aamir gets to do a spy-verse, he will also join in,” said the actor. The actor added that Shah Rukh and he are like the iconic fictional friends Jai and Veeru.

During the conversation, Salman reflected on his career in the 1990s. He said there was a time when “people would not come to watch my movies” and so he decided to star alongside actors like Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Anil Kapoor, and his other contemporaries. Movies’ collections would double at the box office.” Salman claimed that such partnerships helped not just the box office but also supplied audiences with a varied choice of interesting films. Citing the reluctance of actors to be part of multi-starrer films, he said, “The younger generation won’t be able to do it.”

Meanwhile, in an interview with India Today, Salman Khan opened up about his superstar stature. The actor noted, “I have never felt that way. I have never felt like a superstar ever. My habits are not that of a superstar. The way I travel, the way I dress, there is nothing I do that speaks superstar. My mind is not tuned that way.”

Tiger 3 is the third edition of the Tiger franchise following Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), and was released in theatres on November 12 on the occasion of Diwali. The film has earned about Rs 394 crore globally.
