Athiya Shetty shared a glimpse of her personal life on her Instagram stories. In the picture, Athiya and KL Rahul seem to be posing on a wooden floor. Only the shoes and bottoms are visible in the snap. What’s interesting to see is that the duo were twinning in pink sneakers. They both seem to be donning casuals for the day. While one wore a moss green trouser, the other person wore rigged denim.
Earlier this month, Athiya Shetty celebrated her birthday, and KL Rahul shared an adorable picture of him hugging her as he wished her on the special occasion. The cricketer even took cue from the song For My Hand by Burna Boy featuring Ed Sheeran and wrote, “Whenever I’m broken, you make me feel whole Whenever I’m lonely, you’re there for my soul Wherever you are, girl, that’s where I call my home Happy birthday wifey love you.” Athiya commented on the post saying “Love you, miss you so much (red heart).”
Athiya and KL Rahul married on January 23, this year, in a private ceremony at her father Suniel Shetty’s farmhouse in Khandala. The pair had been dating for almost four years before deciding to take the next step and tie the knot.
In a recent interview with Etimes, KL Rahul shared how Athiya support means a lot to him. He stated, “That is one thing which has been constant throughout my career. I recently got married; her support has always been there. She is someone who pushes me to do better. We both have very different personalities, and she, without being cheesy does complete me in a lot of ways. Her support is immense.”
Meanwhile, Athiya Shetty was seen in the 2019 film Motichoor Chaknachoor. She appeared in the film alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui. She made her Bollywood debut with Hero in 2015, starring Sooraj Pancholi. She also co-starred in Mubarakan with Arjun Kapoor.
