Joe Malloori is an Indian actor who has worked in Tamil films. After his debut in Prabhu Solomon’s Kumki (2012), he appeared in other films as an antagonist and supporting actor. He also shared the screen with Thalapathy Vijay and Mohanlal in Jilla.

Joe recalled an interesting incident from his time with actors Mohanlal and Vijay during a recent interview. He shared that while working on the film Jilla, Vijay invited Mohanlal, his wife, and himself over for dinner. They arrived at Vijay’s residence around 7 pm, where Vijay, his wife, and their two children warmly greeted them. However, during the meal, only the guests were served, prompting Mohanlal to repeatedly encourage Vijay to join them at the table.

Despite their requests, Vijay chose to serve rather than eat with them. The following day, noticing that Joe seemed upset, Vijay approached him. Joe humorously taunted him, saying, “Eat Vijay eat Vijay. You’re too used to waiting until everyone else has eaten.”

Joe shared this story to highlight Vijay’s humble habit of ensuring his guests were well taken care of before he would eat, a quality that has resonated with fans and went viral after the interview.

Mohanlal revealed while hosting Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 6 that Thalapathy Vijay personally called him to play one of the lead roles in the 2014 Tamil film ‘Jilla’. In the film, directed by RT Neason, Vijay played the role of Shakthi Sivan, the adopted son of Mohanlal’s character Sivan. The film became one of the super hits in Vijay and Mohanlal’s career.

During a special show of Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 6, one of the contestants named Jilla as her favourite film. Talking about Jilla, Mohanlal said, “Thalapathy Vijay personally called me for the role. He felt that I would be perfect for the role and I felt the same. Then it was our turn.

Jilla, written and directed by RT Neason is an action drama starring Thalapathy Vijay and Mohanlal in the lead roles. The film is about the conflict between a crime boss and his adopted son, who is a police officer. The son’s attitude towards the law changes after a violent incident.
