When Amesha Patel’s Health Got Affected Due To Gastro Infection During Career's Peak

The falling career graph of actress Ameesha Patel scaled up after the release of Gadar 2 last year. It was directed by Anil Sharma and starred Sunny Deol, Utkarsh Sharma and Ameesha Patel in the lead roles. The film collected Rs 691 crore against the budget of Rs 60 crore. Ameesha Patel, who is looking to revive her acting career after her dream debut with the film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, was diagnosed with gastroenteritis years ago. It is also considered one of the reasons for the absence of the actress from the silver screen.

Actress Ameesha Patel was treated by the same doctor who treated Amitabh Bachchan and Saif Ali Khan. After this treatment, she was asked to follow a completely vegetarian diet. As a result, the actress became so weak that she had to take a liquid diet. She was not able to digest food, leading to vomiting, diarrhoea and stomach cramps. Gastroenteritis is also known as stomach flu. The stomach and intestines are inflamed in this disease. It is usually caused by bacteria.

The disease can be spread by coming in contact with the vomit or faeces of an infected person, as well as by eating contaminated food. This also causes dehydration. There are some simple things to do to prevent this disease.

Focus on eating foods that are easy to digest and rich in electrolytes like rice, bananas, or drink soups. Rest is extremely important in such cases. Do not exercise immediately after feeling better. Ameesha entered the film industry with the film Kaho Na … Pyaar Hai in 2000, alongside Hrithik Roshan, which went on to become a super hit. After that, she did a Telugu film called Badri, which also proved to be successful.

In 2001, she was seen in the film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha with Sunny Deol. The film was a top-grossing, blockbuster hit of the year. Then she did films like Humraaz and Kya Yehi Pyaar in 2002, which flopped at the box office. Her career witnessed a downward graph. Several films which she starred in started to flop at the box office, like Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage, Kranti, Yeh Hai Jalwa, Mangal Pandey: The Rising and Thoda Pyaar, Thoda Magic.
