Orhan Awatramani, also known as Orry, is one of the most popular internet personalities of recent times. The “Bollywood’s BFF” has managed to create and sustain much buzz around himself, thanks to his wacky sense of style and whimsical personality. Even though the youngster is on the paparazzi’s radar and has an Instagram following of over 1.5 million people, not much is known about his “origins” or what he actually does for a living. In many ways, Orry has nailed the age-old formula of “being famous for being famous”.
Orry’s connections with Bollywood’s elite undoubtedly hint at his affluent background, considering his closeness with Bollywood’s big shots. However, this has not prevented Orry from claiming the title of a “struggler” and a hard worker who is always busy “working on” himself and “struggling” to perfect poses for the paparazzi. Now, once again, Orry has given a sneak peek into his “struggle-filled” life. On Monday, the internet personality shared a video that showed him “struggling” to get into a pair of what appears to be plastic pants. Orry tries to pull up the yellow-translucent plastic pants by himself and falls in the process. While sharing this clip, Orry wrote, “Haters will say I’ve never struggled, so explain this ???”
This post has gotten over 48,000 likes in less than a day. Commenting on it, an Instagram user joked, “That’s a lot of hard work.” Orry’s tongue-in-cheek comment on topics like hard work and struggle are not new. His Instagram bio says, “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.”
Earlier in January, Orry appeared on Koffee With Karan and had a candid chat with filmmaker Karan Johar. In his quintessential eccentric manner, Orry spoke about how he stays relevant with assistance from his “minions”. He revealed, “In my relevance room, all my minions come up with ideas. We have mood boards, and they pitch ideas on how to keep me relevant, and that’s how I stay in the news. This is a hustle.”
Back in January 2023, in an interview with Cosmopolitan, Orry spoke about his “work” and said, “I am working on myself. I am going to the gym, I am doing a lot of self-reflection, sometimes I do Yoga, I go for a massage, I am working, but I am working on myself.”
